Founded by designer Daisy Barbel, Li'Bel Atelier is built on a rich family legacy of artistry. Inspired by her paternal grandmother, a seamstress, and her maternal grandfather, a tailor, Daisy grew up immersed in the art of sewing and design. This heritage shaped her passion for craftsmanship from an early age and continues to influence every gown she creates.

Daisy began designing and sewing at just eight years old, pursued formal training as a teenager, and later earned her degree in Fashion Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2023. After working with multiple bridal brands, she launched Li'Bel Atelier to bring her own vision fully to life.

The name Li’Bel honors legacy, incorporating the last names of her mother’s and father’s families—symbolizing connection, heritage, and the foundations from which the brand was born.

Li’Bel also comes from the French words lié (bound or connected) and bel/belle (beautiful), meaning bound to beauty. It carries a subtle spiritual significance as well—being bound to God, who is beauty, order, and creation itself. This meaning reflects the heart of the brand: a place where beauty is intentionally created, never rushed, and deeply meaningful.
