Li Bel Atelier is more than just a brand—it is a testament to generations of artistry and dedication. Daisy Barbel, the visionary behind the atelier, comes from a lineage of skilled artisans—her paternal grandmother, a seamstress, and her maternal grandfather, a tailor. Growing up surrounded by so much creativity and the delicate art of needle and thread, Daisy developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship from an early age.

The name Li Bel Atelier is a direct reflection of this rich heritage. It merges the legacies of two families who shaped her into the designer she is today—her maternal grandfather’s name and legacy, Liger, and her paternal grandmother’s name, Barbel. By intertwining these names, Daisy honors both sides of her family and the artistry that has been passed down through generations. Li Bel is a representation of two sides of herself—tradition and innovation, structure and grace, precision and creativity.

By the age of eight, she was already designing and sewing garments, and at sixteen, she pursued formal sewing classes to refine her skills. Her passion and dedication led her to the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she had the opportunity to work alongside brilliant professors and incredibly talented peers. It was during this time that she sharpened her artistry, pushing creative boundaries and mastering the intricacies of design. In 2023, she earned her degree in Fashion Design, marking the beginning of a journey that would see her collaborating with countless bridal brands.

Now, Daisy is paving her own way, bringing her vision to life through Li Bel Atelier. Each gown tells a story of tradition and innovation, where classic techniques seamlessly merge with contemporary design. Her mission is simple yet profound: to empower, encourage, and celebrate women of all backgrounds through the gift that God has given her.
